There are various positions at each center and office within our corporation. Our staff provide childcare, therapeutic care, caregiving and consultations. Each job has a crucial role, and it would be impossible to run our corporation without any of these. Here is an introduction to the jobs. (They will be added as needed.)

Nursey Staff
Our qualified staff provide childcare to infants from 6 to 24 months at Kazenoko Baby Home and children from 6 months to the age of 5 at Kazenoko Hoikuen. Also at Awaji Kodomoen and Himejima Kodomoen, with our child guidance staff we provide childcare as well as therapeutic care for children with intellectual disabilities.
Children are lulled to sleep through the gentle tapping of nursery staff at nap time.
Staff in charge also enjoy making ceramics with the children.

Care Assistant
Staff who have various qualifications, such as certified social workers and care workers, provide support for adults with intellectual disabilities during the daytime at Kazenoko Sodachien and Work Center Hoshin (including Kaze Kobo).

Child Guidance Staff
Staff certified in Child Guidance provide childcare and therapeutic care for children with intellectual disabilities, together with the nursery staff at Awaji Kodomoen and Himejima Kodomoen.

Care Worker
Staff who have various certifications, such as care workers and home care workers, provide daytime support for the elderly at the Suisen no Ie Day Service Center for the Elderly.

Nurse
A certified nurse checks the individual’s vital signs, administers medication, gives treatments and instills eyedrops, in addition to providing childcare, therapeutic care and assistance to individuals together with other staff. They also look after the individual’s physical condition, give health consultations with the family and sometimes connect them to a doctor or a hospital.

Clinical Psychologist
Staff certified as a clinical psychologist provide childcare and therapeutic care from a specialized psychological angle, together with other staff. They also accept consultations with guardians and families, and attend checkups at the Mental Health and Welfare Center.

Care Manager
Staff certified as a care manager make a care plan based on discussions with the individual and their family, and connect them to care services such as day service and home care support service for the elderly, under the care insurance.

Counselling Support Specialist・Counseling Support Assistant Staff
Staff respond to consultations not only with individuals serviced by our corporation but also people in our community with disabilities and their families. Staff who are certified as social workers, psychiatric social workers and care workers, listen to the wishes of the individual or their family, introduce appropriate social resources and help to coordinate an active community lifestyle. They play a part in community welfare through the network of the government and other welfare organizations.
Consultations lead to the introduction of organized services and social resources.

Music Therapist
Our staff with music therapist qualifications provide musical activities with other staff in childcare, therapeutic care and day services for the elderly.

Nutritionist 1
Our nutritionists plan the menu and prepare lunch together with the cooks in the kitchen. Their expertise is catered to each center, managing baby food and specific diets (that take into consideration different allergies) for the children, food based on prevention of diseases for adults, and food that takes into account the needs and challenges of the elderly.

Nutritionist 2
Some certified nutritionists work as care assistants. They use their knowledge of nutrition and cooking for therapeutic care (e.g. cooking activities). Through their assistance, they are also able to monitor the individual's daily condition and serve as an intermediary between the individual and the kitchen staff.

Kitchen Staff
Staff certified as a kitchen cook prepare meals together with the nutritionist in each kitchen. All cooks are professionals in the food world. They sometimes give advice regarding meal balance to the nutritionist. They also use their skills with the food garnish and presentation.

Okowa: A steamed rice dish made with glutinous rice mixed with meat or vegetables.
Other than serving lunch, value is placed on communication with the individual.

Specialist
We invite specialists as an instructor with various knowledge, talent and skills to support our childcare, therapeutic care and care for the elderly to our centers. Our staff also receive helpful guidance and advice.
A ceramicist comes to provide an activity making ceramic plates. We use these plates to serve lunch in our centers.
A baker comes to provide a bread baking activity, later serving the bread for lunch or selling them outside our centers.
A specialist certified in traditional Japanese Anma massage and an acupressure therapist come to heal the daily fatigue and stress of both the individual and the staff.
A musician who produces their own CDs provides music therapy activities.
A handweaving instructor provides advice that takes into account each individual's personality and feelings, not just the quality of the product. Various colors and the differing stiffness of the materials come together to create a wonderful product (artwork) thanks to the instructor.

Driver
Drivers in charge of picking up, dropping home, and providing daytime transportation. Each driver has plenty of experience and operates their vehicles safely. Regular maintenance of the car is also important for safety reasons. They drive day-to-day under the motto, "No clients in a damaged or dented car."

Office Staff
Staff certified in bookkeeping or as professional secretaries handle work related to accounts and social insurance, are in charging of care insurance and support expense billing, deal with administrative authorities, general affairs, telephone calls and customer survices, and other important aspects of facility operations. This is key for the other staff working in the fields of childcare, therapeutic care and care for the elderly to work with ease.
A computer is a must-have item.
