Background of Daycare and Therapeutic Care for Children (People) with Intellectual Disabilities
We began supporting for children with intellectual disabilities in 1971. Out of necessity, we further established other centers and have managed these centers with a consistent philosophy that supports children and adults with intellectual disabilities. ⇒【Data】 Page1・Page2・Page3・Page4


Activity Policy
We place value on people with intellectual disabilities acquiring basic skills of interpersonal relationships. This includes communication, lifestyle and developing an ability to be socially independent while defending their human rights and caring for their wants, emotions, and self-expression.
　We have therapeutic care activities as described below:
  1. Productive activities: hand-weaving, bread and cookie making, Japanese paper making
  2. Promotion of recycling of resources: contributing to the recycling movement by collecting aluminum cans and milk cartons
  3. Inter-regional interchange activities: cleaning a park, collecting aluminum cans, garage sales
  4. Creative activity, expressive activities(music, dance), and physical exercise
  5. Life training camp and work at Tanba no Ｉe and Tanba kaze no Ｉe (lodging facilities of our corporation)
  6. Outpatient/traveling consultation, day services: support activities not only for people with intellectual disabilities at our center but also people with intellectual disabilities in the community
