◆Chorus appreciation （April, 2013）
Mr. Zenjo, the instructor of the chorus group at our center which we provide as social service, also teaches music at Josho Gakuen junior high school. Students of the chorus club from the junior high have visited our center during spring vacation the last few years. This year they came to sing for us with the special adviser, Mr. Zenjo.
Ms. Midori Zenjo and Eguchi Teruhiro who is based in Italy performed this year. After enjoying the fine opening act, the junior high school students came on stage. They sang a medley of the school song, “Four seasons of our hometown”. Our clients who used to join the chorus were delighted to listen to a cavalcade of nostalgic songs. They remember that time and said “It was good. I’m touched” while crying. At last, everyone sang “Momiji” (Maple leaf) in rounds. We spent quality time with junior high school students. |
